🧬 What is GeneGuard?
GeneGuard is a research-driven initiative and technology platform aimed at improving genetic literacy and expanding access to breast cancer genetic testing across India. Created by engineering students from Usha Mittal Institute of Technology—Prerna Jha, Harshita Singh, and Harshada Jagade, under the mentorship of Mr. Vishram Bapat and guidance of Prof. Shraddha Karande—GeneGuard combines AI-powered tools, data-driven insights, and user-friendly technology to bridge the genetic awareness gap in the Indian healthcare system.
